Carle Place High School raised $20,000 to donate to The Smile Train and the Hagedorn Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Center following its 11th annual Battle of the Classes, Battling for a Cause event.
The funds were raised through a combination of community donations and school activities, including an obstacle course, relay race and volleyball.
The district congratulates the top fundraiser senior Gabriella Murray and the Class of 2018, who were this year’s champions.
